پلان اولیه پروژه دارای گوشه‌ها و شکستگی‌های غیرمنظم فراوانی بود که خنثی‌سازی آن‌ها و رسیدن به تعادل بصری، مستلزم استفاده از اشکال فاقد گوشه، مانند دایره و بیضی بود. از طرف دیگر، اصلی‌ترین نیاز کارفرما تجهیز حداکثری داروخانه با قفسه‌های فروش دارو بود که بررسی آلترناتیوهای گوناگون چیدمان خطی، چهارگوش و منحنی قفسه‌ها نشان داد در فضای مساوی و با در نظر گرفتن فواصل صحیح حرکتی، اشکال منحنی طول بیشتری از قفسه تولید می‌کنند. لذا با الهام از هندسه قرص و کپسول، اشکال دایره و بیضی و قطاع‌هایی از آن‌ها در فرم عناصر پلان، از قبیل دیوارهای داخلی، کف‌سازی، روشنایی‌های سقفی و مسیرهای حرکتی، و نیز در فرم المان‌های معماری همچون پله گرد، مبلمان، قفسه‌ها و کانترها به‌کار گرفته شد.

برای جداسازی سه طبقه فضای داروخانه (دو طبقه تجاری و یک طبقه اداری) از سایر بخش‌های ساختمان که دارای کاربری مسکونی بودند، لازم بود دسترسی عمودی مستقل داخلی ایجاد شود. این دسترسی به شکل پله گرد طراحی شد که علاوه بر هماهنگی با زبان کلی طرح، حداقل مساحت را نیز اشغال می‌کرد.

وظیفه اصلی ما به عنوان معمار، فضاسازی به منظور تلطیف روحیه بیمارانی است که برای خرید دارو و بعضا در شرایط نه‌چندان مساعد، به این مکان مراجعه می‌کنند. در پاسخ به این مهم، استفاده گسترده از گیاهان متنوع با جانمایی‌های گوناگون (اعم از دیوار سبز، ستون سبز، درختچه‌های میان قفسه‌ها و باکس‌های گیاه در طول شیشه‌های نما) و همچنین کاربرد رنگ آبی (که از نظر روان‌شناسی برای انسان آرامش‌بخش است) به عنوان رنگ غالب و اصلی پروژه، در طراحی مدنظر قرار گرفت.

The initial plan of the project had many irregular corners and fractures that required using corner-less shapes such as circles and ovals to accomplish visual balance. On the other hand, the main need of our client was to equip the pharmacy with the most shelves of products to sell. Hence, examining various alternatives of linear, quadrangular and curved arrangement of the shelves, and measuring within a space of equal area by considering the standard corridor distances and proper circulation, showed that curved shapes provide more length for the shelf. Due to the geometric shapes of the pill and capsule, we used circular and oval shapes to form the plan, including interior walls, flooring, ceiling lighting cylinders, circulation paths, and architectural elements such as round stairs, and furniture like shelves and counters.

It was necessary to create an individual inner vertical access to separate pharmacy space (including two retail floors and one office floor) from other residential parts of the building. This staircase was designed as a spiral staircase, to conserve the general alphabet of the design, and also to occupy the minimum area.

As an architect, our main duty is to create a space to improve the morale of patients who go there to buy medicine, and often are in not-so-favorable conditions. As a response to this priority, the widespread use of various plants in different shapes (green wall, green column, shrub and box of plant) was considered as well as the use of blue color (which has psychologically calming and relieving effects on humans) as the dominant color of the project.
