پروژه دفتر شرکت مرز زیستن، حاصل تجمیع و بازسازی دو واحد تجاری مستقل در مجاورت یکی از خیابان‌های اصلی متل قوست. در ابتدای بازسازی، پس از مقاوم‌سازی بدنه ساختمان قدیمی و ایجاد ارتباط بین دو واحد، راه‌پله مشترک جدید جانمایی شد، و نیز با توجه به نیازمندی‌های فضایی پروژه، بخش‌هایی به طبقه بالکن اضافه شدند.

در طراحی نما، به دلیل وجود تردد زیاد در خیابان و پیاده‌رو، از یک پوسته‌ 3D Panel برای فیلترکردن ارتباط بصری بیرون و داخل استفاده شد، پوسته‌ای چندعملکردی که علاوه بر کنترل دید، خواسته تیم طراحی برای داشتن بدنه‌ای کشیده، سفید و درخشان را نیز محقق می‌کرد تا نام شرکت بر روی آن نقش ببندد.

با توجه به ارتفاع زیاد واحدهای تجاری، برای جلوگیری از انعکاس صدا و نیز تخصیص ارتفاع مناسب به فضا، از طاق‌های متقاطع به عنوان یکی از عناصر اصلی معماری ایرانی استفاده شد. این طاق‌ها در نسخه‌ای مدرن‌شده، به‌صورت معلق طراحی و اجرا شدند تا در عین ایجاد یک کیفیت فضایی مطلوب، به کاربردی‌بودن فضا نیز کمک کنند.

The project resulted from renovating two independent commercial units near the main street. The renovation process included the establishment of a connection between units, after the structural reinforcement of the old building. When this connection was established, parts of the balcony that required extension, were added to the space, and the location of the common new staircase was determined.

The crowded street and sidewalk led to the use of a 3D panel shell in the facade of the project, to filter the visual connection between the outside and inside. In addition to vision control, this multi-functional shell fulfilled the design team’s desire to obtain an elongated, white and bright framework for the company’s name.

Due to considerable height of commercial units, groin vaults were used as one of the main features of Iranian architecture, in order to prevent sound reflection, and to provide suitable height in the space. The vaults have been designed and constructed in a suspended form, to manifest modernization, and to create desirable spatial quality while facilitating function.
