ایده پروژه با تلاش برای تداعی و کالبدبخشیدن به مفاهیم مرتبط با فرایند درمان و نیز ظرافتی که اشاره تلویحی به چیره‌دستی یک پزشک حاذق دارد، شکل گرفت. تعمق در واژگان مرتبط با این حوزه، ویژگی‌هایی همچون بافت‌دار و ملموس بودن، لایه‌لایه بودن، پاک‌سازی، ظرافت و حساسیت، و انعطاف‌پذیری را به ذهن متبادر می‌کند. از این‌رو، با عینیت‌بخشیدن به این واژگان از طریق تشابه کالبدی و گاه تضادهای سنجیده، سعی شد حس مخاطب با جعبه فضایی محدود و کوچک پروژه درگیر شود.
فرایند طراحی همانند کار یک پزشک متخصص پوست، از لایه‌برداری اضافات آغاز شد، و در نتیجه، تمام عناصر مازاد فضا، شامل پوشش سقف، دیوارهای مخل عملکرد و نیز دیوارهای لوله‌های تاسیساتی حذف شدند. هدف این بود که با آشکارشدن همه عناصر ساختاری فضا، چه به لحاظ سازه‌ای (حذف یونولیت‌های زیر سقف کاذب و عریان‌کردن شبکه دال‌گونه سقف) و چه به لحاظ تاسیساتی (آشکارشدن شبکه اصلی تاسیسات و اجرای دقیق سیستم جدید مکانیکی و الکتریکی)، فرصتی برای شکل‌گیری یک پوسته فرمال و منعطف از توری‌های فلزی فراهم آید. به کمک این پوسته مشبک، کلیت فضا شکلی منسجم پیدا کرد، و در مرحله بعد، با اضافه‌شدن جعبه درمان، برش‌هایی روی شبکه فلزی ظاهر شد و شکاف‌هایی در آن رخنه کرد.
چالش اصلی پلان، شکل‌گیری گوشه‌ای بی‌تناسب، با چشم‌اندازی زیبا به درختان چنار کوچه بود، و نیز مسیر دسترسی طویلی که اتاق های درمان و این کنج دنج (فضای استراحت پزشک و کارکنان) را به هم متصل می‌کرد. این راهروی طویل با پتانسیلی که درختان در انتهای آن ایجاد کرده بودند، فرصتی برای شکل‌گیری یک قاب سبز فراهم آورد که بر غنای حسی مسیر حرکت بیافزاید. بدین‌ترتیب، یک فضای طاقی‌شکل در این راهرو شکل گرفت که علاوه بر زیبایی بصری، به نیازهای عملکردی فضای کوچک مطب نیز پاسخ می‌دهد، به‌گونه‌ای که فضای رختکن کارکنان با دو درب تعبیه‌شده در دیواره این فضا، امکان محصورشدن دارد، و حتی در مواقع لزوم، دید مراجعه‌کننده به فضای استراحت را مسدود می‌کند.
جعبه ظریف و حساس درمان که یک باکس نیمه‌شفاف شیشه‌ای است، تضاد محسوسی با بافت خشن توری‌های شبکه فلزی دارد. مخاطبی که در فضای انتظار نشسته است، بر خلاف روال معمول، یک حجم شیشه‌ای نیمه‌شفاف را می‌بیند که کنجکاوی وی را در مورد اتاق درمان بر می‌انگیزد. فضای براق این جعبه که با ضوابط بهداشتی اتاق معاینه و جراحی مطابقت دارد، در تبعیت از ماهیت کل فضا، شکلی خمیده به خود گرفته و برنامه فیزیکی طرح را با قوس‌های برش‌خورده در خود جای داده است.

The project idea was formed by an effort to embody the concepts related to the treatment process, and the oblique reference to the mastery of the doctor. Contemplating the vocabulary related to this field, brings to mind features such as texture, layers, purification, elegance and sensitivity, and flexibility. To materialize these words, physical similarities and sometimes thought-out contrasts were used in an attempt to engage the user’s sense in the limited and small spatial box of the project.
The design process commenced like the work of a doctor, by peeling off the additions, and removing the excess elements, not only the walls that interfere in function, but also the ceiling and walls covering the utility pipes. The purpose was to display all the basic elements of the space, both in terms of structure (removing the Styrofoams under the suspended ceiling to expose the slab network of the roof), and in terms of facilities (revealing the main network and carefully implementing the new mechanical and electrical system) to provide an opportunity to form a flexible surface. The whole space got a coherent shape with the help of this mesh layer, and in the next step, when the treatment box was placed in the space, some cuts appeared on the mesh.
The main challenge of the plan was a disproportionate corner with a beautiful view of the sycamore trees of the alley, and a long access path that connected the treatment rooms to this cozy corner (private space for the doctor and staff). This long corridor, with the potential of the trees at the end of its axis, provided an opportunity to form a green frame that would increase in the spatial quality. A vaulted space was formed in this corridor, which, in addition to visual beauty, also meets the functional needs of the small office space. The staff dressing room can be enclosed with two doors built into the wall of the vaulted space, and when necessary, it blocks the visitor’s view of the private rest area.
The delicate and sensitive treatment box, which is a semi-transparent glass box, has a noticeable contrast with the rough texture of the mesh. The visitors sitting in the waiting area, contrary to the usual routine, see the semi-transparent glass box, which arouse their curiosity for the treatment area. This shiny space, which complies with the hygiene standards of the examination and surgery room, has a curved shape in accordance with the nature of the whole space, and incorporates the physical program of the project with cut arches.
