پروژه دفتر شرکت مرز زیستن، حاصل بازسازی و تجمیع دو واحد تجاری مستقل در مجاورت خیابان اصلی است. پس از مقاوم‌سازی بدنه ساختمان قدیمی و ایجاد ارتباط بین دو واحد، بخش‌هایی از طبقه بالکن که نیاز به کشیده‌تر شدن داشتند، به فضا اضافه شدند. مکان‌یابی راه‌پله جدید مشترک مابین این دو واحد تجاری نیز با توجه به طراحی دیاگرام‌های افقی و عمودی طرح معماری جدید صورت گرفت.
در طراحی نمای پروژه، با توجه به تردد زیاد در خیابان و پیاده‌رو، از پوسته‌ای از جنس 3D Panel برای فیلترکردن ارتباط بصری بیرون و داخل استفاده شد، پوسته‌ای چندعملکردی که علاوه بر کنترل دید، خواسته تیم طراحی برای داشتن بدنه‌ای کشیده، سفید و درخشان را نیز محقق می‌کرد تا نام شرکت بر روی آن نقش ببندد.
ارتفاع زیاد واحدهای تجاری و لزوم انعکاس صدا، در عین داشتن ارتفاع مناسب در فضا، سبب استفاده از طاق‌هایی متقاطع به عنوان یکی از عناصر اصلی معماری ایرانی شد. به منظور مدرن‌کردن این عناصر، طاق‌ها به‌صورت سیال و معلق طراحی و اجرا شدند تا در عین به وجود آوردن کیفیت فضایی برای محیط و کارکنان، به کاربردی‌بودن فضا نیز کمک کنند.
شفافیت به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین عناصر و اصول فکری در معماری این ساختمان، از طریق استفاده از شیشه و نعل‌درگاه‌های رواق‌شکل، به طور تاکیدی به چشم می‌خورد. در طراحی نورپردازی نیز با توجه به وجود طاق‌های معلق، اقدام به ساخت چراغ‌هایی با ارتفاع‌های متنوع، برای به وجود آوردن نور و سایه مطلوب برای محیط کار و کارکنان شد.

The design of the Border-Of-Living Office of Architectural Design and Construction resulted from renovating two commercial units near the main street. The construction design of the building included the establishment of a connection between two independent commercial units after the structural reinforcement of the old building. When this connection was established, parts of the balcony that required extension were added to the space. The location of the common new staircase between these two commercial units was determined according to the horizontal and vertical diagrams of the new architectural design.
The heavy traffic on the street and sidewalk led to the use of a 3D panel shell in the façade of the project to filter the visual connection between the building’s exterior and interior. In addition to vision control, this multi-functional shell fulfilled the design team’s desire to obtain an elongated, white, and shiny framework for the company’s name.
The high-rise commercial units and the requirement for sound reflection have provided a suitable height in the space while also leading to the use of a groined vault as one of the main features of Iranian architecture. The arches have been designed and executed in a fluid and suspended form to manifest modernization, facilitating spatial feasibility and desirable spatial quality for the environment and staff.
Transparency is one of the main intellectual elements and principles in the architecture of this building, emphasized through the use of glass and portico lintels. The presence of the suspended arches necessitated the use of lights with different heights in the lighting design of the building to create the desired light and shade for the work environment and staff.
