موضوع پروژه عبارت بود از طراحی یک فضای کوچک حدودا ۳۰ متری برای نمایش محصولات یک تولیدی لباس رسمی مردانه:
ـ چگونه مى‌توان این همه لباس را در فضاى کوچک این‌چنینى به نمایش گذاشت؟
ـ چطور ممکن است که مفاهیمی از روند دوخت را در روح فضا دمید؟
ـ چگونه ظرافت تاروپود پارچه را در فضا تداعی کنیم؟
ـ چطور زمینه‌ای نسبتا خنثی، اما جذاب پدید آوریم؟
ـ آویز لباس را چطور؟ می‌شود آن را جور دیگری دید؟
ـ و نور که باید باشد، ولی چگونه می توان آن را در دل دیواره‌ها تنید؟

پس بتن را بر دیواره‌ها پوشاندیم تا هم حسی از خشونت و بی‌پیرایگی فضای تولیدی را بدهد، و هم رنگی خنثی بر بستر زمینه بگذارد. بعد تاروپودی پیوسته را بر دیواره‌ها و کف بتنی نشاندیم، و نخی آهنین را در میانه‌های تاروپودهای بتنی دوختیم؛ البته اندکی شل دوختیم تا آویزهای لباس را در دل دیوار پدید آورد. سپس از درز این دوخت‌های آهنین، نور را به فضا تاباندیم، نورهایی باریک و نافذ، اما تاثیرگذار. میز را هم از امتداد همان نخ‌های آهنین ساختیم و در مرکز نشاندیم تا گردشی روان در فضا میسر شود. نتیجه، فضایی محجوب و آرام شد و البته گیرا، که هم بی‌پیرایه و سبک است، و هم می‌شود سرنخ‌هایی از ظرافت دوخت و پارچه را در آن یافت.

A small space of about 30 meters to display the products of a men’s formal attire producer:
– How can you display a variety of diverse and colorful products in such a small space?
– How can it be possible to breathe elements of the sewing process into this space?
– How do we associate fabric’s intricacy with the space?
– How can we create a relatively neutral, but attractive background?
– How about the hangers? Can you look at them from a different perspective?
– And the light that should be, but how can it be integrated into the walls?

So, we covered the walls in concrete, to both give a sense of violence and disorientation to the space, and also to put a neutral color on the substrate. Then, we placed a continuous warp and woof on the walls and the concrete floor. We sew the iron thread in the midst of the cobblestones, although we did so a little loosely, so that it creates the coat-hangers within the wall. Then, through the crevices of these iron sewing, we projected light into the space, slim and penetrating lights, yet effective. We made the table along the same iron strings, and placed it in the center, to achieve a smooth flow in the space. The result is an unobtrusive, calm and yet adsorbent space, one that is lightweight, and the elegance of sewing and fabric can be felt in its threads.
